Consider this my cover letter. I have been working in the IT business for 8 years now. I’ve seen the security and solutions used by large institutions like Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah and the flexibility and usability required by small businesses like the Denali Princess Lodge in Alaska and SolutionStream Inc. in American Fork, Utah.

I’ve also worked nearly every level of the development cycle. I’ve managed the technical product support teams, tested software, designed features, and developed web applications in Ruby on Rails. I’ve discussed and drawn up technical specifications and understand how to design and provide secure, reliable, and user friendly products.

I’m keenly interested in helping your business succeed. For that reason, I study new development techniques, current technologies, and how they fit into online marketing. Not only do I find this extremely useful, but highly enjoyable, which provides a large part of my motivations for wanting to see you succeed. I want to help you because it makes me feel good. It gives me that sense of accomplishment that keeps me going.
